Aaron Micheal Harrington

Aaron Micheal Harrington, 31, of Grimesland, North Carolina, passed away Thursday, July 28, 2022.  

Aaron was born to Carolyn and the late Steven Harrington. After the passing of his father in 1995, Aaron's mother went on to marry the late Curtis Taylor. Aaron looked to Curtis as a father figure. 

Aaron started his automotive painting career at Johnson Body Shop in Durham, NC. A few years later he moved back home to Grimesland, NC where he began working for King's Towing. After a number of years, he went back into painting cars which was a true passion for him. 

Aaron was a member of StraitWay ministries. 

Aaron was preceded in death by his grandparents Charlie and Miriam Anderson, Marlene Mason, and husband Bobby, JC Harrington, and wife Phyllis; aunt Rita Anderson Bland, and husband Greg, and Lorrie Harrington. 

Aaron leaves to cherish his memories, one daughter, Charlee Magnum, of Greenville, NC; mother Carolyn Anderson Taylor of the home; three brothers Charles Anderson, and wife Rhonda, Cameron Taylor, and fiancé, Maggie and Shawn Anderson; two sisters, Melissa Smith, and husband, Linwood, Stacy Taylor, and fiancé, Nick all of Grimesland, NC; three aunts, Peggy Harrington, and husband, Jack of Morehead, NC, Cheryl Afifi, and husband, Sidi Mohamed of Chocowinity, NC,  Joan Burtner of Virginia; three uncles Ray Anderson, and wife Joyce of Henderson, Johnny Harrington, and wife Deborah of Tarboro, NC,  and David Harrington of Tennessee; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives and friends. 

There will be a private viewing for family on Wednesday August 3, 2022, from 2:00 pm to 2:30 pm at Rountree Family Mortuary, 3152 US Hwy 17 South, Chocowinity, NC followed by a graveside service at 4pm in Homestead Memorial Gardens. 

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Rountree Family Mortuary, PO Box 8523, Greenville NC 27835.
