Andrew Lee Blango Jr.

Andrew Lee Blango, Jr. was born on July 26, 1977 to Deacon Andrew Lee Blango, Sr. and Linda Williams Blango.

On Tuesday, August 31, 2021 unexpectedly our Heavenly Father sent His Angels to take Andrew to his eternal home of peace and rest.

Andrew attended and graduated from the Aurora High School in Aurora, NC in 1996.

Andrew was well known in the community. He loved helping his family as well as helping others. He was known as the “Life of the Party”. He knew how to bring laughter and joy to all family events. He was always happy and greeted you with a big smile. He enjoyed spending time with family and friends.

Andrew attended Trucking School in Knoxville, Tennessee and obtained his CDL in 2004. Throughout his driving career, he drove for the following Trucking Companies: US Express Trucking; J.B. Hunt; 2 Men & A Truck in Greensboro, NC and BWM Lines in Bath, NC.

Andrew was preceded in death by: his Maternal Grandparents: Elizabeth & George Williams and his Paternal Grandparents: Mollie & Jaylen Blango; his Aunt: Ella Louise Grimes; his Uncles: George Williams Jr., Albert Lee Williams, Sr., David Williams and Carlton Thompson.

Andrew leaves to cherish his loving and fun memories: His Parents: Andrew Lee Blango, Sr. and Linda Williams Blango of Blounts Creek, NC; One Brother: Michael Jerome Blango of Greenville, NC; One Daughter: Ratreveyia Shondel Mustipher (Blango) – (mom - Kizzy) of Vanceboro, NC; One son: Kimani Ceyril Blount (Blango) – (mom Shevon), of Edward, NC; One special god-son: Kody English (mom Rena) of Greenville, NC.  Eleven Aunts: Eliza Thompson; Mamie Blango; Katie Respass (Ronald); Sylvia Blango, Sanila Blango all of Blounts Creek, NC; Belinda Blango (Glenn) of Rocky Mount, NC; Mary Ephraim of Raleigh, NC; Martha Moore (Bobby, Sr.); Elnora Grimes all of Edward, NC; Mary Grimes of Winston Salem, NC; and Debra Tuten (George) of Aurora, NC.  Six Uncles: Marshall Blango, Sr. (Lola) of Blounts Creek, NC; Bernard Blango, Sr. (Debra) of Washington, NC;  Joseph Blango (Teresa) of Elizabethtown, NC; Samuel Williams (Sandra) of Bridgehampton, NY; Tom Grimes of Aurora, NC and Danny Ephraim (Toreria) of Fayetteville, NC. Two Great-Aunts: Ola Mae Moore of Portsmouth, VA and Maggie Lee Blango of Aurora, NC and a host of cousins and friends.
