Mr. James Louis Ward, Jr (Buckshy) was born on June 7, 1959.
He attended Pactolus School, Stokes Pactolus Middle School, and North Pitt High School. He worked to Regional Storage many years.
Buckshy loved to be with family and friends. He never met a stranger. He loved his bicycles and his sunglass. He also loved his dog Dinky.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Reatha Mae Ward; brother, Clinton Ward; and two brother-in-laws, Nathainel Fields (Big Moel) and Ronald Randolph.
Buckshy leaves to cherish his memory, his father, Mr. James Louis Ward, Sr; his sister Eva Mae Fields, of the home, and Diane Ward Randolph of Greenville, North Carolina; three brothers, John Frank Ward (Angel), Bobby Ray Ward (Lisa), Mitchell Ward (Pat); four uncles, Nick Ward of Charlotte, North Carolina, Andrew Ward (Barbara), Charlie Ray Ward (Pete), and Eddie Ward (Annie B) all of Greenville, North Carolina; seven aunts, Jeanette Sheppard, and Ann Lee Ward of Greenville, North Carolina, Dorothy Mills and Hattie Speight (Clint) of Pactolus, North Carolina, Ann Sharpe of Greenville, North Carolina, Patricia Ward of Albany, NY, and Laura Harrell (Willie Lee) of New Haven, Connecticut; three special nephews, Randy Ward, Moses Ward & Chris Ward; one special uncle, Andrew Ward, and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
