Johnnie Mack Frank; “Big Mack”
MACK loved riding out in the car, seeing new places and revisiting old. He would laugh and talk the entire time until he got hungry. He also loved fishing, watching the drag race on the weekend , wrestling and watching his Westerns like Gunsmoke and anything with Clint Eastwood. He loved old model cars. He could look at an old model car and tell you the make, model and year. He was never wrong. He loved spending time with his family. One of the last things he inquired about was when was the next family cookout.
MACK was born to the late Charlie Frank Sr. and Ada Marie Wilson Frank on March 11, 1946 in Pitt County, NC. He departed this life on April 10, 2024.
MACK worked on the farm in his younger years. As he got older, he worked in Log Wood about 15 years with his Dad and his brothers. After he left working in Log Wood, He worked at Fieldcrest for about 24 years until his health changed.
MACK united in Holy matrimony to Bessie Lee Paige on December 8, 1969. To this union, 2 daughters were born.
MACK was preceded in death by his parents Charlie Frank Sr and Ada Marie Wilson Frank. 2 sisters Annie Mae Ward and Dorothy Robertson. 1 brother Charlie Frank Jr. (Bojack)
MACK leaves to cherish his memory his wife Bessie Frank of the home. 2 daughters; Adrienne Frank of Brooklyn NY, and Tanesha F. Reed (Melvin) of Stokes, NC. 3 grandchildren; Aaron Spruill of Greenville, NC, Traymon Spruill of Fayetteville NC, Kedrian Spruill, of Stokes, NC. And a bonus granddaughter Lontrane’ Reed of Raleigh, NC.
