Kacy Latricia (Langley) Wiggins

Swiftly and silently, on Friday, September 22, 2023, our beloved Kacy Latricia Langley Wiggins entered eternal slumber. God called her name so softly that only she could hear.

Kacy was born on February 07, 1979, in Washington, North Carolina, to her adoring parents, Richard Langley and Steffi Grimes. Kacy attended Washington High School in Washington, NC. She was devoted to her family and had a smile for everyone she met. A ray of sunshine: She brightened every room she entered and warmed every heart with her presence.

Kacy shared her light and love with her soulmate and best friend of 20 years, Gerald “Erb” Barrow. They enjoyed a storybook romance and cherished every second they shared together. 

Many people show their love in various ways.  Kacy showed her love through hard work, devotion to family, and letting mouth-watering fragrances fill the kitchen.  She was a regular Martha Stewart in the kitchen.

She was preceded in death by her paternal grandfather, Fred Langley; grandparents, Willie Grimes and Martha Grimes; three aunts, Brenda Langley Floyd and Patricia Langley Cobb and Barbara Grimes; and one uncle, Timmy Langley.

Kacy is survived by her husband, Gerald “Erb” Barrow; two daughters: Stephanie Wiggins and Sarah Barrow; father, Richard Langley; mother, Steffi Grimes; paternal grandmother, Emma Langley; sister, Lala Langley; four brothers, Keon Wilson, Richard (Marsha) Langley, Jr., Christopher Moore; Terrance (Kandy) Cooper; five grandchildren: Mila’, A’Niyah, Zion, Truth, and Nolan;  aunts and uncles, Martha (Roscoe) Howard, Loretha Grimes, Detty Keyes, Carlton Keys, Linda Louis, Dexter Louis, Jeffrey Grimes, David Godley, and Eric Godley; and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, and beloved friends.
