Quentrail Manuel Staton, our beloved son, father, brother, grandchild, nephew, cousin, and friend, was born June 22, 1990 to Sheldon “Joe” Taylor and Toni Staton in Greenville, North Carolina.
Quentrial was known affectionately as Quin, DeeBo, Que, Jackboi, and Strawberry.
Quentrail attended Pitt County Schools and enjoyed fishing, basketball, and thoroughly enjoyed his card game “The Georgia Skins”.
Quentrail’s family will treasure his love and remember him fondly. He is survived by his father, Sheldon “Joe” Taylor (Diane) of Greenville, North Carolina; his mother, Toni Staton of Greenville, North Carolina; two sons, Simir Staton and his mother, Kenya Walters, Gabriel Speight and his mother, Valencia Speight; one daughter, Amiri Zaliyah Staton, and her mother Traniqua Matthews; his siblings, Tymeshia Hines and Quantice Jones of Greenville, North Carolina; his grandmothers, Ruby Taylor and Hattie Spain of Greenville, North Carolina; grandfather, Charles Staton; his aunts, Angenette Wiley, Shelia Latham, and Glenda Latham of Greenville, North Carolina, and Angela Staton of Richmond, Virginia; a great-aunt, Janice “Moot” Reid of Greenville, North Carolina. He is also survived by a host of other very loving relatives-cousins, nieces, and friends. His childhood (lifetime) friends, Demetrius Tyrese Hines, and Darion Vines.
