Roderick Paul Greene

Mr. Roderick Paul Greene was born in Pitt County, NC, and was called to his heavenly home on May 29, 2023, peacefully at ECU Health Medical Center. He was born on March 16,1969, and was the eldest son of six children, to the late Vonnie Paul Johnson and Bettie Lou Ruffin Greene. He was a graduate of DH Conley High School in Greenville, NC; where he resided and worked on a farm for many years.

Roderick Paul Greene was a loving brother and loved his family very much. He was very outspoken and honest, well-spirited and he loved to grill and hang out with family.

He is perceived in death by two brothers, Shawn, and Eric Greene. He leaves to cherish his memories, one sister Joyce Greene of Greenville, NC, and two brothers Vonnie Paul Greene of Greenville, NC, and Andre (Tronette) Greene of Ayden, NC. Grandmother Joan Rogers of Simpson, NC, two uncles Albert Rogers of Rocky Mount, NC, and Gerald Rogers of Greenville, NC. Five aunts Mable Ruffin of Greenville, NC, Alice (Andrew) Ward, and Carolyn Smith both of Simpson, NC, Deborah Rogers and Cynthia Rogers both of Greenville, NC, and a host of nephews, nieces, relatives, and friends.
