Stanley John Moravcik

Stanley John Moravcik, son of Margaret Mc Hale and John Moravcik, was born on November 3, 1933, in Bronx, NY. He entered eternal rest peacefully at home on April 26, 2023, in Greenville, NC.

Stanley attended school at P.S. 125 in New York, NY. After Junior High School Stanley decided to discontinue school to pursue other interest. Stanley did a few odd jobs before deciding to join the United States Army. He served in the states and in Germany as a PVT Engineer Supply Specialist. After serving several years in the army, Stanley received an honorable discharge and returned to New York City.

Stanley retired from the NYC Metro Transit Authority after 24 years of work as a station clerk in January of 1996. As a dedicated family man Stanley took pride in spending time with family and friends in his retirement years. He was a lover of music, dancing, chatting with others, and playing a variety of video games. He enjoyed every moment spent with loved ones. He greeted all with a kind spirit and big smile. Stanley truly wore his heart on his sleeve.

Stanley was preceded in death by his parents, Margaret and John; his son, Jeffery; his brothers, John and Patrick; and his sisters, Joan and Peggy.

Stanley leaves to cherish his memories, his loving and caring wife, Hattie Moravcik; his brother George; his sister Fran; his children he reared as his own, Precious Locke- Turner (Almondo), Pamela Locke, Willie Locke; his granddaughters, Melinda Trueblood (Erik) and Keyana; grandsons, Jeremy R., Jeremy L., Darrell Jr., Aden; his great grandchildren, RyleeMaison and Hunter; and a host of nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.

We will miss your warm smile, kind spirit, and generous heart.
